The Ingram’s Are Here!

RCC—This is a special Sunday coming up. This

Sunday will be Pastor Baron’s last Sunday on staff and we’ll welcome and pray over Pastor Kurt as our new pastor. So, please don’t miss this special time of closure as well as the welcoming of a new day!

3 Things I need ya to know…well, actually 4.

1. Our Web-site is all new and updated, sorta. The address is the same, www.rooseveltcc.org, but some info is still being added so it’s not fully complete yet. One advantage to our new site is it will be able to function as a real-time message board for when new and exciting info needs to be passed. I suggest making a trip to our site after morning prayer and devotions. Just think of it as an extension of your quiet time.
2. We at RCC value (fill in the blank). What we would like to do is develop an RCC values-statement that comes from you. So what we need is value statements that well reflect who we are as RCC. An example would be, “We at RCC value loving our neighbors”. Our goal it to collect values from all of you, as many as you would like to submit over the next month, and then compile them to create a congregational value-statement that well reflects us. Feel free to submit as many as you like, either through e-mail response or on your communication cards on Sunday. Remember, a value is a guiding principle that effects behavior. *be looking for a ’reply’ option on our web-site as well*.
3. This Saturday at Roosevelt Park there will be a neighborhood sponsored event focused on cleaning up the foul language and graffiti our the Community Mural. Show up at 9:30-11:30, supplies will be provided (but some brightly colored exterior paints would help too) and we’ll clean-up and add to  our community mural.
4. Sunday the 21st we’ll all have an opportunity to testify to what God has done in our lives. During our worship service, there will be space to share with the congregation some of your testimony, maybe how you got saved or simply how you’ve seen God work in you life recently. Times like this bless the Lord and build up the body, which is us, the church.

Peace and I’ll see on Sunday if not sooner

Pastor Baron Miller
