“To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing”. -Martin Luther King Jr.

We will be meeting for prayer from 6:30pm to 7:30pm tonight at the church.  Hope to see you there!

If you’ve been with us in the summer months before you know that means two things: 1)Smores and 2) The Annual Assets for Change/Opportunities for Service bulletin board.

So, starting this last Sunday you will notice the bulletin board is up and it has two sides.  On one side is the Assetss for Change: This is where you would post an asset or skill that you can lend a hand with.  An example would be if you have an extra lawnmower that someone could borrow for the summer.  You would write your name, number, what the item/skill is, and then stick it on the bulletin under Assets For Change.

On the other side you will see the Opportunities for Service: If you have a need, say for a lawnmower, you could write your name, number, the opportunity for service and then put it on the bulletin board.

In this way we connect our congregations Assets for Change with our congregations Opportunities for Service.

Want SMORE time together?—Starting in July, we’ll be doing SMORE’S on Sunday nights and we need host homes. If you’re willing to buy SMORE supplies and host a camp fire in your yard, please indicate so on your communication card on Sunday or email Pastor Cameron.

Every Tuesday (Lasting through the months of June and July) from 6:30-7:30pm we have a weekly prayer gathering here at the church.

What will we pray for? Anything and everything! It will be an informal, come as you are and for as long as you can prayer gathering where we will pray for each other, the church, our leadership, our nation etc…

This is an exciting time for RCC, so let’s PRAY!
